Performance Tuning Re-mapping.

We can professionally Re-Map your vehicle with the latest chip tuning files.
There are no hardware changed in your vehicle, all modern cars have an Engine Control Unit (ECU) or Bsi Unit, a computer which controls everything that happens in your engine including the ignition timing, how much fuel and air are mixed together, when the turbo kicks,tyre size, weight load etc.. All these settings are stored as maps within the ECU. We plug our equipment into your car’s ECU, read the maps that are already stored on it, use our software to find the optimal settings for your car, and then reprogram the ECU with our new, optimized maps (this is called remapping). The whole process takes between 15 minutes and an 2 hours, depending on your car’s ECU.

NEW MOT LEGISLATION 2012

On 1 January 2012, new rules were added to the current MOT by the Department of Transport(DfT) to comply with European testing procedures.

If your car has any illuminated warning lamps,(Or lamps that do not illuminate when they are supposed to) whether it is the airbag, seatbelt, ESP, SRS, ABS or others, it will soon fail the MOT. Also Speedometer and other faulty guages will fail, We at cartronix can help and repair your instrument cluster saving you from a big main dealer replacement bill.

We can repair the LCD display on you Speedometer/ Instrument Cluster, If you have missing pixels or your display is unreadable we can help, there is no need to reprogram the speedometer or no need for a mileage correction as we can retain the original data. We Replace the faulty components with OEM parts sourced by ourselves. Airbag crash data can be removed from all motor vehicles fitted with Airbags and Airbag control modules.

The Airbag crash sensor will send permanent faults to the Airbag control unit, With our Airbag crash data reset tools and Airbag crash data software We can clean and erase all crash data information, re-instating it to its original condition.

We use our Airbag crash data cleaner and Airbag crash data eraser to remove your Airbag crash data.

Speedometer Repair Service.

We can repair your instrument cluster / speedometer / Digital Odometer. We can replace failing guages, Fix total power failure and replace broken LCD Displays. All repairs are carried out by our Fully Qualified Electronics Engineers and have a 2 year warranty.

Mileage Correction Service.

We are able to legally change the incorrect mileage reading on your vehicle to read as it should, we can also check and correct if necessary the keys, key modules, car access systems, body control units and e.c.u's which can also store incorrect readings. Most vehicles now have memory storage devices all of which can be checked and corrected. If you have replaced the instrument cluster with a new or second hand unit; if you are converting from Km to Miles or vice versa; or replaced a control module with a second hand one, we can help. Alternatively, you may have installed a jump start pack onto your vehicle causing the mileage to jump, or may have even completely corrupted the information and you are now faced with lines instead of numbers, either way we can help. We provide a full postal service and we also provide a mobile service covering most of the UK.
